One of the threads connecting our research with sales/opportunities is a framework where this work is based on a different approach to screens and input than most are accustomed. Utilizing a mobile and tablet for the better part of 15 -20 years as a primary computer is something of an alternate reality from the “we just discovered smartphones when Apple did it” contingent. Context: Sitting in the usual cafe-office, looking at the devices on the table and recalling a friend’s mention about new wallpaper on their mobiles…sharing wallpapers is such a social thing. If this were the “social computing” setup, I wonder what the “sharing wallpaper” moments would be? In the rise of wearable devices, capability is often touted as being the prime factor for usage.
